B. use populism and propaganda narratives to induce fear, follow empty promises, and develop zeal to be socially / physically violent (fan goes to follow, goes to recruited, goes to radicalized (not overseas, but your own neighbors and relatives)
C. generating conned fan bases with conspiracy theories, extremism, doubt of government, and zealous overthrow/political taking/justified violence

 How long does it take to radicalize another person?

People may be radicalised in many different ways, and over different time frames from as little as a few days or hours, or it may take several years.

Radicalized is not limited to ISIL recruits online, but the process of radicalizing any person, including your best friend nextdoor, to a political or any other radical view.

Local Radicalization: Leaders / Politicians generating recruits of those you know, to accomplish their self-serving plans of taking. Radicalization is not limited to Isil!

Both the Dark Disordered leaders and recruits use Divide and Conquer, Bias, Hate, and Social / Psychological violence eventually leading to physical violence where the recruits, not the Dark Leader, get arrested or worse.
