A: if not conning / narrative developing or looting, they have then one emotion, under the umbrella of rage.
Here are metaphors of these two parts, but NOTE:
Conning, the smiley mask, is not an emotion. It is an adrenaline and endorphine brain response, that is not emotional. It is not an emotion. Psychopaths can become high from that, but I think this pseudo-euphoria is still not an emotion.
The dark evil mask represents the rage emotion. But, I think this is still a different process than anger in "typical and normal" humans. I think its something else, like maybe some old hunting instinct in the brain gone astray.
It's not critical that you buy into that, but at least know these traits.
But, why would I think that the conning high and rage are not emotions?
1. I think this is a brain reaction like we might see in a drug addict, pedophile on the prowl, or animal behaviors.
2. emotions, that our "typical person has", can be resolved in the brain, and problem emotions lessened. But, for the Dark Disordered, they are progressively worse over time, do not respond to therapies, and simply hone their skills of the con. For instance, if we have two rageful men
a. a psychopath that is rageful only becomes more that in their lifetime, even if they hide it
b. but a man, with no prior psychiatric history, and develops PTSD in war, and is rageful toward his wife, and potentially violent can reduce all this in medical or behavioral therapies. The problem with defining this person is that those soldiers that have gone on shooting rampages, had psychiatric histories all their lifetime, but it was not known, hidden, or hard to find out their background (psychiatric or psychological forensics).

It's really hard to comprehend, but Dark Disordered psychopaths and entrenched narcissistic personality disorders view you as gnats and flies. You're that low.
