Ukrainian Boy Cries and Drags Bag: Him, you, me, and War PTSD

There have been days the last two weeks that I've had to turn off my routine of monitoring political psychopaths and their damage. I usually do this for several hours daily. I've written 15 books on dangerous psychopaths and entrenched bully narcissists (the Dark Disorders).  And, I've ventured into realms and worlds I didn't expect, including the studies of the Dark Disorders in history, in art, cinema, and mythology. (often, I've written a book not for ego, pride, or profit, but to have a place to put my own collection of thoughts on an aspect of the Dark Disordered.)

So, there have been times, no days, that I assess the news quickly about what is going on in Ukraine and Russia, and world leaders are saying about this, doing about this.

Assessing, there are days that are too raw for me to handle. It's beyond any apocalypse movie, Hollywood alien invasion or even collection of information on human mutilation found in any serial or mass killer documentary.

Too raw to handle, I move on into the day in my coping and healing mechanisms that I've used in life. You have yours, I have my inner tools that include mediation and music, time with my pets being close and playing with them (I could drop into a mood or zero state and give them nothing, just be there, no harming them, but not contributing to them....so I get up and Do. They give back). I also use my own spiritual tools and rituals.  But, I pray for them, during the day, often after lighting a candle. Like a kooky very old man that I am, I remind my cats to pray for all the cats, dogs, animals, children, adults, cows and.....  Do they pray? Well, they do listen to me.

Why would I ask them to pray for all levels, and all things in Ukraine?

Because there are so many levels of destruction of war, of world displacements, and famine.

We see, in the news and online two types of children in the current crisis. No, there is a third type, where the child is bundled and being carried to safety by a parent, Ukranian soldier, or total stranger, with a blank look on their face as they don't know this situation their in, can't interpret it mentally, and are in their own crisis limbo. Many have died and did not have those arms lofting them away.

Let's say that child is the primary victim in our story here.

This boy has deep sobs, moving into Poland from the Ukraine.

We saw the first few days of the crisis, a mix of children with hope and smiles, but now it's down to the reality.   99.9 percent are now fully displaced, and are victims of War Trauma. Most, likely 80% will develop War PTSD, a disorder of the brain and mind, impacting the whole life of the child.

These 80% were not lucky to have come from very resilient backgrounds, or fled the war initially. There are many factors that lead to good resiliency of the brain and mind, but time of trauma length, severity of trauma, social factors, and wear down this resiliency. What may have been some extra resiliency aid provided by genetics, good family, or stable childhood decay for ALL.  Eventually, the trauma wins, and lives and brains are damaged for both long term, and impacting at least 2 future generations (see the link below, this information is included in the books on rebuilding life, and others).

Those with hopeless situations, are 100% impacted, including the millions displaced in current African wars.  If lucky enough to grow up, their minds and gifts to the world are mostly eroded.  Some, though will just die from starvation, lack of water, disease, or beheaded by genocide thugs lead by psychopathic leaders.

Even if you don't like the word Victim, War PTSD has an expanding spiral fractal of victims beyond the recipient. Short traumatic events or repetitions of lesser events include this War assault or situation of negligence, separation, marginalization, lack of food / water, basics
All victims are impacted, but children are triple impacted by War PTSD. Resiliency: just a few have resilient brains and minds. Initial resiliency comes from many factors in a person's life, but in time, war and displacement is a Dark Reaper of all victims lives: especially Children whose brains are just forming: with time and severity of trauma, all become victims of War PTSD, 100%.

All are traumatized by war, but with Children we see the most severe damages to brain, mind, and life. That is because their brain and personality are in growth stages, which get stopped by War PTSD.

Here is a metaphor of this ongoing and expansive damage.

I don't want to discount any adult's true damage by War PTSD, but just to add info on the deep, permanent damage by childhood war ptsd, displacement, and famine.

The damages to a person, their friends, relatives, communities, and those who view on social media or news, are like these fern leaf spiral fractals, the stem being the damaged initial victim. The spirals are areas damaged now, and to show up later.

What symbols and metaphors do you see in these unfolding spiral fractals, with a center stem, and secondary and tertiary victims showing up from it?
